Our Products and the Environment

Euromec endeavours to reduce any harmful effects our products and services may have on the environment by ensuring:

• They comply with European standards governing international environmental protection
• Products are made up of 100% recyclable components on bodywork and waste container components
• Machines are fitted with Euro 4 engines designed to keep emission levels below the European Community standards
• Payload efficiency, reduces empty running, trip lengths and time on the road
• Aerodynamics, the style of the units reduces drag
• It is company policy to run all diesel engine vehicles on ultra low sulphur diesel. Petrol vehicles also run on low sulphur petrol and as they come up for replacement alternative fuels are being sort, i.e. LPG
• Where possible Euromec select suppliers who are committed to sustainable environmental improvement
• We dispose of goods in a way that minimises environmental impact and where appropriate make sure that suppliers and purchasers take full responsibility for disposal
• We ensure that waste is disposed of responsibly and according to the UK Environmental Protection Act that imposes a duty of care on waste procedures
