Euromec Celebrate 20 Years Of Being Streets Ahead Of The Game!

Euromec, the UK's leading supplier of street cleaning machines, celebrated its 20th anniversary in style on 14th July 2006.

The company, as well as celebrating this milestone, also unveiled their prestigious new headquarters and two new street sweeping machines to the many guests present.

Edward Garnier, MP for Market Harborough, was delighted to officially open the premises and offered his thoughts on Euromec's achievements over the years.

"I am so impressed when I walk from my flat to the Houses of Parliament and see a Euromec cleaning machine keeping the streets of London tidy - I think to myself that this is a company that, originated from and operates in, Market Harborough!

Not only am I proud to see Euromec's machines in operation all over the UK, but I also look forward to the day when I find out that Euromec has a contract in Paris, Madrid and the other capital cities of Europe!" - Edward Garnier, MP for Market Harborough.

Peter Crewe, Euromec MD, reflected on the organisation's history, saying, "20 years ago, Euromec consisted of just three people. Since then, many more staff have joined us, the office and workshop has trebled in size and we have hundreds of loyal customers - I am so proud of where we are today."

Associates from all over the country, alongside members of the media came along to join in on the fun.

The sun was shining and the champagne was flowing as a jazz trio played relaxing music in the background - you couldn't get a better day to join the Euromec team in celebrating their accomplishments.
