Euromec Supports Patsy Quick in Dakar for Second Year

For the second year running, Euromec is sponsoring motorcycle rider, Patsy Quick, in the famous Dakar Rally.

The biggest rally in the world, the 28th Dakar makes headway from Lisbon on 1st January 2006. The only British woman to take part in the rally on a motorcycle, it will be the fourth time Patsy has attempted the Dakar challenge. Last year she did not cross the finishing line when her bike refused to start part way through the race. However this makes her even more determined to succeed in 2006.

Euromec is supporting Patsy through financial backing and a range of promotional activity. It?s name and fox's head logo will appear on her bike, helmet, and the vehicles driven by her support team, Team Desert Rose.

Patsy is one of 508 competitors in the race, and will be travelling through the desert for 15 days. She will be riding with actor Charley Boorman, better known for his round the world motorcycle trip with Ewan McGregor.
