Cleaner Than Clean

Industrial and urban cleaning equipment supplier, Euromec, can confidently claim that its Ronda model is the most efficient sub compact ride-on sweeper on the market. The Ronda features unique patented systems that control the emission of the dust collected during the sweeping process.

With a cleaning capacity of 12,000 square metres per hour, the Ronda is the ideal solution for sweeping small to medium sized urban areas, such as pedestrian arcades, cycle paths, sports facilities and car parks. Ronda is a very compact vehicle. It is just 2.6 metres long and one metre wide, but has a cleaning width of 1.75 metres, with the retractable third sweeping brush.

As well as picking up visible waste, most modern sweeping machines also collect the air polluting dust created by traffic. Unlike most machines, which simply discharge the dust back in to the environment, the Ronda is equipped with a powerful filtration system. This means that all the dust and debris collected by the combined brush plus suction sweeping action is retained and only clean filtered air is dispensed into the atmosphere.

Tests conducted by an independent agency in accordance with UNI, the Italian national standards body, procedures relating to the measurement of dust flow and emissions proved that Ronda?s filtration system is 99.99% effective. Readings were taken during normal working on a normal stretch of road. Over a four and a half hour period, 130kg of waste debris and dust was collected. A special Proboscis, fitted to the air discharge point, measured the dust emission. Only thirteen milligrams of dust were detected during the same period.

The tests prove that Ronda not only efficiently collects large items of rubbish, but it also has a positive effect in reducing the amount of dust in the environment.
