The Boxer Plus is engineered for demanding sweeping applications where equipment needs to withstand sustained use and the physical demands of industrial environments. Its robust steel chassis and approximately 800 kg construction provide the durability required for environments where machines can encounter unavoidable knocks and impacts during everyday operation.
A major advantage of the Boxer Plus is its up-and-over sweeping system. Instead of throwing collected materials forward, the main brush lifts debris over itself and into the rear-mounted hopper. This makes better use of the available hopper volume and lets the 240- or 300-litre hopper fill more effectively. With the operator positioned at the front of the machine, the rear hopper arrangement also provides an unobstructed view of the sweeping area.
Hydraulic hopper emptying adds another practical advantage when dealing with larger quantities or collected waste. The operator can empty the hopper from the driver’s position, with hydraulic discharge reaching up to 1470mm. This reduces the need for manual handling and makes disposal faster when cleaning large sites with substantial debris accumulation.
Optional side brushes extend the cleaning width beyond the main brush, allowing the Boxer Plus to cover up to 1900mm. The operator controls them, and they retract automatically when they encounter a solid obstacle. The electrically powered side brushes also incorporate RCM’s side brush vacuum system, which captures dust generated around the brushes and helps keep airborne particles under control during sweeping.
Dust management continues through the main filtration system. Air is drawn through the machine during sweeping, filtered and then discharged. In contrast, the electric filter shaker periodically cleans the filter elements by removing accumulated dust and returning it to the hopper. This helps maintain filtration performance during extended cleaning operations without requiring the operator to stop and clean the filters manually.

Ride-on Sweeper
Being a ride-on sweeper, the Boxer can work long and hard. The operator is placed at the front of the machine with an excellent view of the work area. A comfortable and adjustable seat together with logical and easy to understand controls mean operators are confident and safe from the get go. Hopper emptying is done from the driver’s seat as an added convenience.
Up and Over Sweeping
As with all our industrial sweepers the Boxer has an up-and-over sweeping system. Sweepers using this sweeping system are more efficient because they throw the dirt over the main brush and into the hopper from the top. This makes best use of the hopper volume as it fills to the top. Forward throw machines cannot do this. This also puts the waste hopper at the back of the machine and the operator at the front: Great for visibility. This also allows us to fit a class leading 240 litre hopper which lessens emptying trips: Sweep the largest car park in one go. Hydraulic hopper emptying to a height of 1470mm makes emptying fast and efficient.
Side Brushes
Side brushes extend the sweeping width of an industrial sweeper beyond its main brush width, controlled by the operator they automatically retract when they meet a solid object. They are electrically powered and Boxer features our unique side brush vacuum system that controls, if not cuts out dust created by sweeping. No other manufacturer offers this feature. This makes Boxer dust free when it’s working.
Dust Control
A large diameter main brush and the side brushes sweep dust and debris into a rear mounted hopper. Dust is controlled by the sweeper’s air flow system. Air is sucked through the sweeper, over the main brush and hopper then out through a free flowing dust extraction system that removes all the dust from the air before it is expelled from the machine into the atmosphere. Electric filter shakers vigorously shake the filter element to remove the dust from the filter element and drop it into the hopper, restoring performance and keeping the Boxer car park sweeper operating efficiently without operator intervention.
